Some Updates

We wanted to take an opportunity to share a few little snippets with you, keep you in the loop as to some of what is going on. Not just in our world, but some of those things related to it.

A very supercharged shout-out to everyone who commented on yesterday's blog about Christopher's iPad! It was a very emotional moment, for everybody, and if you'd like to experience it from another perspective, be sure to check out the blog of Christopher's mother Stephanie, Our Little Man, she put up a really sweet entry today about the iPad.

Looking forward to staying in touch and seeing more photos of Christopher and his family communicating!

In other news, you'll see in the next couple of days a lot of subtle details getting peppered in to our site, courtesy of the entire crew, working feverishly behind the scenes to try to finalize a lot of the details. Keep an eye out as pages become live as tabs at the top of the page, revealing new information, like Verification forms, Contact Information and other nifty stuff.

To all the Parents of the Recipients, fear NOT! You do not have to sweat any of the details. In addition to having the pages here we will, as before, be in touch with you privately to offer some information and answer questions.

We're all in this together.

Speaking of togetherness, be sure to head on over to Ellen's blog Love That Max!, where she is hosting a giveaway for not one, but TWO iPads, including the amazing Proloquo2Go Speech application that I'm sure everybody on the list here had put on their software list that they had originally submitted. It's an awesome app, and if you follow Ellen's blog, which you should, you know that it has made a tremendous difference in Max's life.

Go check it out and be sure to enter. It's certainly worth a shot, right?

PEACE.

The blog is looking great! Why is it that when I read your profiles, it seems I've known you, in real life even, for a long time! Seriously, you are all lovely people, I can just tell. Heather, our Erin was born March 1st, 2007, just a day before Zoey, and they do resemble each other (it's not just the Ds ha ha). Maureen and Darcy, we share some favorite pastimes (Eucharistic Adoration and lactation LOL). Maureen, Kelley is a family name for us...maybe we're related? And Ken, you keep it real and honest, with a dose of humor, which we ALL need. Just thought I'd share the love with all of you! Thanks so much for doing what you are doing, when I know you all lead such busy busy lives! Kris

Hi Kris! Thanks for your comment! Darcy and I actually met at La Leche League five or six years ago. I'm a LLL Leader now, and Darcy is an LC. I also forced her to come to Adoration with me last week : ) Glad we have some things in common.

Elizabeth, thanks for the blog compliments!
